Admissions for the 2024-25 Academic Year
As a distinguished Full-time Islamic School, we are committed to providing an enriching educational experience that integrates academic excellence with Islamic values. We are pleased to invite applications for the 2024-2025 academic session for the following educational stages:
- Elementary School: From Kindergarten through Grade 6
- Junior High School: From Grade 7 to Grade 9
Tuition Information
Horizon Leadership Academy is dedicated to offering an unparalleled Islamic educational experience, with a yearly tuition fee of $4,000 per child. This investment supports access to our diverse Islamic and academic curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, and a nurturing community that fosters lifelong learners grounded in Islamic values. In addition to the tuition, there is a $150 one-time registration fee and a $35/year Technology fee required by the Palliser Board of Education to ensure our students have access to the latest educational technology and resources.
Financial Aid
For families seeking financial assistance or who find our standard fees challenging, our academy offers a bursary program on a sliding scale. Financial aid begins at a minimum of $1,900 per year, with options for installment payments to accommodate diverse financial situations. To assess eligibility, our enrollment committee reviews factors such as household income and the size of the family. Applicants are required to submit proof of income, specifically the most recent government tax assessment, to facilitate this review.

Bursary Application Process: To apply for a bursary, please notify us of your interest either via email or during your parent interview. It is essential to bring your most recent notice of assessment, as it is a crucial component of the bursary assessment process.
Kindergarten Fees
The Kindergarten program at our institution is structured with flexibility to accommodate the needs of our families. The base annual fee for Kindergarten is set at $4,000, which encompasses the official hours from Monday to Friday, 8:10 AM to 12:05 PM. For families who require extended care, we offer a full-time Kindergarten option. Opting for this full-time schedule incurs an additional annual fee of $2,000, making the total yearly cost $6,000.
For those in need, our bursary program provides financial assistance, adjusting the base yearly fee to $1,900. We also understand the importance of financial flexibility, hence, monthly installment payments are available to all families.
The full-time Kindergarten schedule extends the learning experience from Monday to
Thursday, 8:00 AM to 11:50 AM, and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:05 AM.
Please note that this Friday schedule applies only on select Fridays; refer to the calendar for details. We also offer an Out of School Program (OSP), which is a licensed childcare service.
